Barbera d'Alba
Tenuta Reverdito
Spilling tartaric acid
Shows the basic character of the grape so well: Direct, juicy wine that combines good fruitiness with sparkling tartaric acid. Dark cherries, light plum and fairly low tannic acid. Fine companion to pasta with meat sauce, poultry, Asian-prepared duck and spicy leg of lamb. The grapes come from 6 ha. in Barolo itself; mostly lime and marl soil at approx. 250 ms altitude, where the fairly dense bunches get air around the grapes and plenty of sun exposure. Fermented and aged entirely in steel tanks.

Tenuta Reverdito
Michele Reverdito took over the domain from his father in 1999, a small vineyard of 20 hectares in la Morra and neighbors, which annually delivers about 70,000 fl. He is helped in the cellar by his sister Sabina and in the vineyards by his father Silvano and mother Maria. The methods are sustainable - no insecticides, pesticides or artificial fertilizers are used. The domain covers 40 hectares on slopes in la Morra and Barolo. Michele emphasizes low yields and minimum intervention - and his wine has all the power and fruit that characterizes the best Barolo.
“There is nothing that can stop young Reverdito in his quest to develop his wines and vineyard” – Gambero Rosso
