For over 220 years, the Von Hövel winery has stood for the finest Riesling wines from the Saar. In 1803, Emmerich Grach laid the foundation stone: he acquired the former monastery vineyard of St. Maximin in Oberemmel. Shortly afterwards, he personally served his best Riesling to Napoleon – from the monopoly vineyard “Hütte”. Today, they combine the origins of the cool Saar, passion and meticulous craftsmanship and deliver Riesling wines with soul, charisma and a signature that you will never forget.
